Our activities
Year-round
Den meetings
Den meetings are the core activity of Cub Scouts. You’ll meet with your den several times a month for exciting activities working towards your rank.
Bike rides
We love to explore the Bay Area on two wheels by riding together on the San Francisco Bay Trail.
Pack meetings
Once a month we get together as a pack to join. As a pack we’ll play games and celebrate our achievements.
Kite flying
The shoreline of the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays provide plenty of wind to fly kites year-round.
Hikes
We like to get outside for hikes around the Bay Area. We go on hikes for different skill levels. From a gentle stroll along San Francisco Bay to adventure in the local mountains.
Camping
We organize several pack camp-outs throughout the year. Enjoy fun around the camp fire.
Seasonal
Ice cream social
We like to kick-off each year with a back-to-pack ice cream social.
Trunk-or-treat
To celebrate Halloween, we host a trunk-or-treat in the parking lot of our meeting location. Families decorate their cars and scouts visit each trick-or-treating.
Snow Day
Our annual snow day is a day trip to Donner Summit Snopark for a day of sledding and snowball fights.
Pinewood Derby
Scouts build wooden race cars and race them down a ramp. A Scouting tradition!
Scouting for Food
Scouting for Food is our fall food drive to support Bay Area food banks.
Pancake breakfast
In the spring we host our extended family and friends for a fun pancake breakfast.
Spaghetti feed
A fun family and friends night where scouts provide an all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner.
Veteran’s Day flag placement
On Veteran’s Day, we visit Rolling Hills Cemetery to place hundreds of United States flags to honor our veterans
Blue and Gold Dinner
Celebrate the founding of Scouting with a community dinner and cake auction. For the auction, Scouts compete to create the best Scouting-themed cakes.
